We’re Chris and Julia Tunstall, a husband-and-wife team who love the service industry and are dedicated to treating all of our customers like they are our family. Inspired by Chris’ decade of experience as a bartender and bar manager, we created A Bar Above as a bar education site in 2013, growing over the years to add online training, a podcast, and a unique line of premium barware designed entirely by us. We’re dedicated to growing a team of people in Carlsbad, California who love craft cocktails and the beverage/service industry as much as we do! Together, we continue to develop and personally test our custom line of bar tools so we can bring the best barware to our customers. In addition, we are looking to expand our mixology course offerings in 2022.

Jennifer Schaus runs a successful consulting firm in the heart of Washington DC. Jennifer and her team started the business almost 20 years ago with the passion to help businesses understand and navigate the complex market of federal government contracting. In short, the firm helps established firms identify opportunities and secure the right tools in order to be successful in winning these competitive contracts. Clients include major Fortune 500 firms, publicly traded entities, and a host of product, service and software firms from around the globe. Jennifer has compiled a vast library of of over 450 complimentary webinars on public sector procurement. Pre-COVID the firm curated and hosted networking events for government contractors at the notable John F Kennedy Center and other fashionable venues.

Jay Helms, Founder of the W2Capitalist.com, and Amazon #1 Best Seller, escaped the rat race after 6 years of side hustling in real estate investing. Jay has a goal to help one million people create multiple streams of income, achieve financial freedom, or build legacy wealth through real estate investing. Jay met his wife Cassie when they were contestants on a reality TV show and when their family of 5 are not traveling the country in their RV, Jay and Cassie reside in Gulf Breeze, FL, with their three kids, Rowland, Stella, and Ellen Anne. Jessica Alexander is a brand strategist, author, speaker, and the founder of Operation Evolve and Boss Babes Brunch Tour. This Montgomery, Alabama native was motivated to start her business after struggling to connect with her dream career and purpose after graduating from college. She eventually found her lane in branding and marketing, leading several campaigns for international brands such as Verizon, Nissan, Windows, and Diageo. In 2016, she founded Operation Evolve and has empowered thousands across the country to gain clarity, discover their passions, and walk in their purpose.
