Dr. Melissa Briggs-Phillips is a Clinical Psychologist with a non traditional career path. After completing her PhD she spent years serving as Project Director, Executive Director and Chief-of-Staff in various settings. She never stopped teaching as an adjunct professor, and maintained a part time commitment to clinical work. In 2014 she decided to blend her diverse background (managing people, teams, budgets with her therapist self) and launched Next Generation Behavioral Health. She is an Executive Therapist that works with leaders on their internal worlds to they can show up as their best selves in their professional roles. Her teaching these days is speaking and presenting at conferences, with the hopes that people leave thinking about something from a new angle, and action items to use immediately in their lives.

Kapri Robinson is DC's 2017 Cocktail Queen and has been a part of the beverage community in DC for almost a decade now. While spending her time being a bartender at Reliable Tavern she founded Chocolate City's Best, a platform to connect people of color to opportunities in the hospitality industry for their own career growth. Kapri has gone on to win cocktail competitions and has been acknowledged on multiple platforms. Kapri has been welcomed onto Good Morning Washington as well as featured in a two-page article in the Washington Post Express. Ce’Aira Brown is a professional track athlete with a psychology degree from Hampton University. Ce’Aira and her fiancé, Fortune 500 corporate accountant André, formed DreamAgain, a company based on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision. DreamAgain offers services for financial and psychological treatments for devalued individuals and communities. With over 600 members, DreamAgain provides a tax service, financial advice, and a women’s empowerment chatroom. Ce’Aira and André met through mutual friends while running track at state competitions and in the same conference in college. Ce’Aira grew up without a mom and André lost both of his parents at a young age. Their shared pain has brought them closer.
