Crystal is the owner and Principal Attorney at The Gaines Firm, LLC, a boutique law firm offering services in family law and business law for the entrepreneur and small business. She is a Virginia native, yet no stranger to the DMV area. She is a two-time graduate of The Norfolk State University and received her law degree from The University of Baltimore School of Law. Outside of work, Crystal is a member of The First Baptist Church of Glenarden and enjoys community service, spending time with her family, and having brunch with her friends.
CLAIRE FITZPATRICK, D.C. is a chiropractor in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She is also originator of a business dream, Joy Health and Body, a wellness cooperative that aims to disrupt our current health care model by putting vitalistic integrative health professionals on the front line of health care. She believes that, because vitalistic health professionals work with nature to remove chemical, physical, emotional, and environmental toxins; they are the first, best hope in saving our populations from chronic, lifestyle-driven disease states.
I grew up in a 1 stop light town in rural Pennsylvania. In 1999, fresh out of University (age 23), I moved to Costa Rica. Via a fateful "roommate wanted" ad, I met a fellow U.S. expat. With little money and less experience, we started an online travel agency. Today we're the largest in Central America, designing high-end, custom trips to Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua & beyond.

Prior to coming on staff at Rock Recovery Christie worked as a consultant with PwC and served as Associate Development Director for Habitat for Humanity's 7th largest national affiliate in Charlotte, NC. Christie now resides in Washington, DC with her husband, Ryan.
Chandler Sterling founded the California Beard Company in 2016. A cartographer by training but a lover of beards by birth he became frustrated by the cosmetics industry after searching for a high-quality natural beard oil. Fed up with being unable to find a suitable beard oil, and being a DIYer at heart, he set out to create his own recipe that would meet his high standards. The goal was to create something simple, only containing materials that came from the earth, that could mimic a product from the era before cosmetics were synthesized and contained potentially harmful chemicals. The result of this experiment led to California Beard Company’s Original Beard Oil recipe. After months of serious use, he realized that this product needed to be shared with the world, and it’s been a wild ride ever since.
