Here in the U.S, she attended University of Maryland, college park and received her B.A in Cell Biology and Molecular genetics. She worked at biotech companies for few years before she realized cooperate job is not a good fit for her or her growing family. Sahar's passion for cooking fresh homemade meals and research proofs of positive impacts of gut health and fit brain were driving forces to establish her Persian Fusion simmer sauce company, Spice of Life, L.L.C.
