Brian currently serves as Chairman of Gillware, which provides cyber risk assessments, data recovery, incident response, and digital forensics services. He is a co-founder of Phoenix Nuclear Labs and served on PNL’s board from inception to when it decided to spin-off SHINE Medical Technologies. Those two companies have raised over 100 million dollars of venture capital and employ hundreds of people in Wisconsin.
Dr Elisa Robyn has a bachelor's and master's degree in Geology, a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and a second master's degree in Jewish studies. She has over 20 years of experience as an Academic Dean in various institutions. She currently is working as a Transitions and Prosperity expert. As Founder and CEO of Red Banyan, Evan brings 20 years of high-level experience in public relations, crisis management, marketing, online media, international relations and public affairs. Throughout his career, he has provided strategic communications counsel to top business leaders, government officials and presidential candidates, and private individuals. Red Banyan provides PR consulting and crisis management and media training. The firm also uses strategic public relations to help clients effectively define their brands, develop powerful messaging around their products and services, garner press attention and achieve important business goals. With a background shaped in the creative arts, I continued my passion for communication and story telling as a presenter, reporter and producer in both radio and TV, as a writer and journalist and in a workshop setting as a facilitator and speaker, creating the easier title, "Storyteller". I enjoy empowering and inspiring others to challenge themselves and live life to the full as I try to do that in my life, thus I decided to reach out to incredible kickass people from my three biggest passions in life: music, adventure and culture. Combining my love for presenting, interviewing and empowering others, the Let’s Go Kickass Today podcast was born.
Devin established his first startup while earning my Law & MBA degrees. Since then, he has set up several startups and enjoyed every minute of it. Devin is an entrepreneur who is also a patent and trademark attorney. Devin has obtained several degrees including a Law degree (JD) and a Masters in Business Administration. Devin also has degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mandarin Chinese.
While working for a large law firm helping Fortune 100 clients like Amazon.com, Intel, Redhat, and Ford with their intellectual property, Devin quickly realized that there weren’t many good intellectual property legal resources out there for start-ups and small businesses. As an entrepreneur himself, Devin wanted to help other small business owners learn about patents, trademarks, and copyrights so they can build value into their businesses and protect their assets.
In addition to founding and running his own patent and trademark law firm, Miller IP Law, Devin has helped found of several startups including a multi-million dollar startup for wearable glucose monitoring. Devin also runs a product development company that helps startups and small businesses with developing their ideas and products.
Devin has also been married to his college sweetheart for ten years and we live in Utah with our four children. Devin focus on being home each evening with his family to help find a balance between an exciting career and a well-rounded family life.
