Laurie Seymour Teaser 00:00
I naturally want to do collaboration. I naturally want to see how to connect in with people in a different silo.
So I have to make sure that I'm not working within just my own silo, but I'm looking across to see how can we connect?
What is the bridge that I have created, that I have walked, so that I can show others how to cross this same bridge?
Intro 00:29
Are you ready to hear business stories and learn effective ways to build relationships, generate sales, and level up your business from awesome CEOs, entrepreneurs, and founders without listening to a long, long, long interview?
If so, you've come to the right place. Gresh values your time and is ready to share with you the valuable info you're in search of. This is the I AM CEO Podcast.
Gresham Harkless 00:56

I'm excited to be with you, Gresh. Thank you for having me again.
Gresham Harkless 01:06
Yes, I'm super excited to have you on. And Laurie's doing so many phenomenal things.
So I'm super excited to hear a little bit more about what she's been working on.
It's been a while since we last spoke. But of course, before we jump into that conversation, I want to read a little bit more about Laurie so you can hear about some of those awesome things.

She has dedicated her life to showing you how to reliably connect with your energetic creative intelligence, source, dissolving old patterns of difficulty, struggle, and even self-sabotage.
Over 25 years ago, Laurie was honored to receive the stewardship of a special energetic technology, Turaya Touch and Turaya Meditation, that activates your inner connection with source, raising your vibration, which changes literally everything.
And giving you the ability to create through your connection with the infinite quantum field of potential.
Laurie is the creator of the Quantum Connection Process, helping you build a program, business, and life that expresses your divine blueprint, celebrates your creative intelligence genius, and gives you the financial flow you deserve with time, health, and well-being to enjoy.
She's the author of the upcoming book, Unconditional Remembrance, Your Connection to Source.
And like I mentioned, Laurie was on episode number 629 of our of our I AM CEO Podcast.
We had a great kind of conversation. We talked a lot around innovation and just breaking through barriers and all of those things.
So definitely, you know, go check that out. And I know this is going to be a phenomenal conversation.
I always love having fellow podcasters on the show because it's like we ultimately speak the same language and we were talking even before we hopped on this.
And one really cool thing that I love that actually she mentioned is from her book as well too, is she's doing this thing called Salons of Life and how it connects to her book, how it brings us back to, it sounds like what I like to call the human part that we sometimes forget as we go through our day-to-day lives.
So Laurie, excited to have you back on the show. Are you ready to speak to the I AM CEO community?
Laurie Seymour 03:02
I sure am. And I'm, I'm pleased to be here. I'm excited to have the opportunity.
[restrict paid=”true”]
Gresham Harkless 03:07
Yes. We're excited as well, too. You're doing so many phenomenal things.
So I guess to kind of kick everything off, let's rewind the clock here a little bit more on what you've been working on since we last got started and last talked and what was part of that CEO story?
Laurie Seymour 03:19
Wow. Well, there's been lots. I mean, there's because so much of my focus is around co-creation for me.
That means co-creation with the energies of the universe. And I don't mean that in a, like, oh, let's just kind of tune in.
But really in a, that everything comes down to energy. Everything is energy, whether we stop to think about that or not.
And to be able to learn how to lower the noise of daily life, the things that take our attention.
But that don't necessarily nourish us, that don't certainly allow us to connect with the parts of life that could really support us in being who we are.
And that's been my desire forever, really. I started out as a psychotherapist because I wanted to understand more about myself.
I wanted to understand more about how people worked. And now that place of co-creation is, it's both, co-creating with the universe and with what I refer to as source, it's also co-creating with one another.
So how do we do more than collaborate? How do we connect in with our own inspiration and then invite others into that who are also connected with their inspiration, with their inspiring source?
And then we get to create some in some truly incredible ways, because there's a lot that needs to be attended to in the world.
Gresham Harkless 05:00
Yeah, absolutely. And I think that's such a powerful place to be.
So I wanted to drill down a little bit more and hear a little bit more on how you're serving your clients, how you're working with them.
And I'm always curious as well, too, is that that curiosity piece that you brought up a couple of times.
Do you feel like that also is part of what I like to call your secret sauce, the thing that you feel like kind of sets you apart and makes you unique?
Laurie Seymour 05:20
Probably. Probably, and that's a good question because it's something that I try and engender in others is that curiosity about themselves so that they can go beyond what they think they know about the world and about how life works to.
Because I got to have experiences of what was possible and that continues to happen and that can that my own personal curiosity drives me like what what more is there.
And I experienced that on an energetic level in frequency and vibration. And then I have to catch up with that.
It's like, OK, well, what is new and how am I seeing things differently?
And so it's a continual process in a way of creation. And I know that that's something I bring to my clients too, because I created the quantum connection process as a way to start to understand, how do I connect into the quantum field?
And by quantum field, I'm talking about the fact that, again, everything is energy.
And we have our own unique archetype for how we tend to do that.
But then beyond that, so if I'm a bridge builder, which I am, I naturally want to do collaboration.
I naturally want to see how to connect in with people in a different silo.
So I have to make sure that I'm not working within just my own silo, but I'm looking across to see how can we connect?
What is the bridge that I have created, that I have walked, so that I can show others how to cross this same bridge?
And that's part of the intention of the book too, is if I hadn't had the early experiences of loss that I did in my own life, then I wouldn't know about this kind of forgetting and remembering.
I wouldn't have had it. So I can look at my own life and say, oh, so sad and so too bad that you had all of this.
And I spent a lot of years like that, but then I can also say, wow, look at what I can offer to somebody else.
Look at how I can invite them across this bridge that is now built because I built it.
And what are the bridges that you were building? What are the bridges that you have built that allow you to offer the kind of guidance that you offer? Cause you do it too. You in particular.
Gresham Harkless 08:20
Very much so, like that lights me up as well. And I'm sure that it does for you.
And, almost, it was wondering, like, just around that curiosity. And I think it's, it's such a powerful thing when you're able to be curious around yourself.
And I think once you start to gain appreciation, love, gratitude, even, for yourself, I think it also starts to shine light on other people.
And, one of the phrase, the quote said, or I think it's a phrase or quote, that everything's not happening to me, it's happening for me.
And I think when you're in that space, which you said about, the loss that you experienced.
I think you can start to see that when other people may have experienced not to compare the equal to loss or the less than or whatever it is, it can be very lonely.
But I think when you have that experience, it again provides that opportunity to build the bridge, to connect, to let people know that you're not by yourself. And you can get through this because I've gotten through this.
Laurie Seymour 09:17
And it starts to give meaning to your own experience.
And I think that we I think we need that and I think we need to say this is not just arbitrary.
Maybe this was the path I needed to walk along as I came in. As I came in, this is the path I chose to walk.
Didn't remember it. But now if I can look back and I can create some kind of sense of potency, how can I use this in my life?
How can I use this in service to a greater humanity? Maybe that's just my family. Greater humanity does not have to be for the whole world, but it could. It could.
Gresham Harkless 10:02
Absolutely. I almost wonder if this might be a hack to some degree, is to be able to understand that even our experiences, the things we're going through in life.
We can ask the question and we can get an answer around what is the purpose of this? What's the value of this?
And I never really thought about it from that perspective, but you explaining it made me think of that.
And I wonder if that is something that if we start to ask those questions, even when the less than ideal things happen.
It might end up giving us that power appreciation, maybe even a cheat or gratitude to some degree of what has happened, even if it's not what we wanted.
Laurie Seymour 10:38
Absolutely, absolutely, like 10,000%. You've nailed it. And part of what I try and do in the book is to teach people how to ask those kinds of questions.
Because it's way more important to ask when things are not going well, so that you can get that sense of meaning and purpose and, oh, there's more to understand here.
We can get that kind of what I call inner guidance it's it's beyond intuition it's actively being able to ask those questions of from that undifferentiated field to bring that into your own being into your own awareness and understanding I love that.
Gresham Harkless 11:24
So I wanted to see if there's anything additional you might consider to be what I like to call a CEO nugget.
This is a little bit more word of wisdom or piece of advice and might be from your book, but what's something you might tell your younger business self if you were to hop into a time machine?
Laurie Seymour 11:38
Well, like I, you know what, I could keep it really easy connecting right into what we were talking about at bound control, that if you want to move to what's next for yourself.
If you want to reach for something, if you have that dream, if you have that idea, it's because it's part of who you are and it's part of what your potential is.
Don't discount it. Don't be mired in doubt about it. Say, okay, if I've had this idea, It's mine. It's for me.
Now, show me how to be willing to surrender be willing to surrender to this greater source out that is that you're a part of that's why you can connect with it.
That's why you can receive from it it's just that there's much more than your linear brain will allow you to know at this moment just keep going keep asking keep being curious.
And be willing to surrender to what comes, not give up, but surrender to that greater you that's waiting in the wings, that's waiting to be revealed to you.
Gresham Harkless 13:06
That's not even a nugget. That's, that's like a mountain and it's so valuable. So I appreciate you so much in sharing that.
Well, now I wanted to ask you one of my absolute favorite questions, which is the definition of what it means to be a CEO.
And our goals have different quote unquote CEOs on the show. So Laurie, what does being a CEO mean to you?
Laurie Seymour 13:21
Ooh, what does it mean to be the CEO? Okay, well, what immediately comes in is, okay, it's a different way to say it, but it really is, I think, the same thing, being a master of self, being a CEO of self.
And if you're going to do that in any other thing, no matter what the length or the size or the whatever the monetary value of your company is, you've got to be that CEO of yourself first.
And having that mastery of self, and that ultimately is really what I teach, but that's just on a smaller, different kind of level.
That's where you bring in that incredible inspiration and potential and enlivenment of all that you're trying to create.
We so often forget around that mastery of self and understanding yourself ends up being maybe the most potent, powerful thing that you can ultimately do.
Because I think it allows you to really show up in your best self, show up in a way that nobody else can.
But frankly, I think it also helps you to think creatively and be able to show up and operate differently in any sphere, industry, whatever it is that you're ultimately doing.
And it helps bring that forward in other people, in your employees, in your staff, and certainly in your family it starts here. And then it's just it almost magically starts to happen.
But it's, we can also talk about it from a science perspective, it happens because you're resonating at a certain frequency, that allows other people to resonate with you with that frequency with that vibration.
And then you're above the noise floor and your call can go through.
Gresham Harkless 15:21
Yeah, absolutely. It's such a phenomenal and magical and impactful thing when your call does definitely go through.
So Laurie, truly appreciate you for hopping on the line with us and talking about all the awesome things you're doing.
Of course, what I wanted to do is pass you the mic, so to speak. just to see if there's anything additional that you can let our readers and listeners know.

Laurie Seymour 15:46

Gresham Harkless 15:55
