Hello, hello, hello. This is Gresh from the I AM CEO podcast, and this is episode number 2200, the I AMCEO podcast, and I'm actually traveling, which makes it a little bit more of a different episode than not doing it where I typically do the episodes. But one of the things that I wanted to episode number 2200, Talk about it as just being super grateful to be able to get and do so many episodes.
But what has actually happened over the past couple of months is you probably have heard done some unique type of episodes where we repurposed a lot, but also had some solo podcasts. But the goal has really been just to recharge. And I think that's one of the things that really came out for people that are running businesses that are doing so many different things that sometimes you just have to take a break.
You have to catch your breath to be able to. Lean back into something or even to just recharge and understand exactly what you want to do So with the podcast that's been something that has come out and come about Consistently, but it's also one of the big things that I think we have to remember as CEOs, entrepreneurs and business owners that we have To continue to keep our cup full and understand that The way that we did it before may not necessarily be the way that we do it now.
So, as we go through episode number 2200, look for more creative ways that we want to try to help people to get their name, their information out there, but also understand that even as you go throughout your business journey, you have to continue to find ways that you need to want to be able to fill up your cup.
And I think We're looking at the pillars. One of the major pillars that comes out is understanding the human part of business. And we so often zoom, zoom, zoom consistently want to have our operations and tip tops shape so that we can continue to optimize and level up more and more and more. But we have to understand that human part.
The human part sometimes means that there's limitations. Sometimes we just don't have the energy or the changes in life personally and professionally that kind of forced us to look at things in a different way. And one of the things that has come about for me is understanding that there needs to be an evolution in the way that we're doing things.
And there needs to be an evolution, the way that we're executing and making those things happen. So that's one of the really big things that has come about from the podcast. And I think a lot of times as we go through our business journey, we start to realize that we can't do the things that we did before to really reach that success.
And one of the really big ways and there's a book that I've been reading, fairly recently that talks really around this idea that talks around the idea of making sure that you are consistently going to be leveling up within your journey. It's by Tracy Gross.
And that book is impactful because and I'm still unpacking it, but one of the big things that has come about is that we have a winning strategy and we have a thing That we've done and we leaned on throughout our lives, whether we're talking about business or we're talking about any aspect of life that has gotten us exactly where we are, but that same thing that got us to where we are, is it going to get us to that next level?
And not only that, there's certain limitations we have within how we're looking at the world and how we're operating in the world, whether we're looking at how things should be or shouldn't be that kind of will force us to evolve and change. So when we start to go through that process and understand that we realize that in order for us to get to that next level or to really do the thing that we consider to be impossible we have to ultimately, reinvent ourselves.
And the book even says not to think of it as, Adopting a new winning strategy. It's just understanding that your winning strategy is probably, part of who you are and it's part of how you operate. It's even like to some degree a coping mechanism because whether it be that you are someone who strives to get things done, if things aren't getting done, then you jump in, roll up your sleeves and do it themselves.
Part of your winning strategy has gotten you to where you are. Or you're somebody who doesn't like conflict. So maybe you're always going to be peacemaker. So you don't, yeah. You will ignore or get away from whatever conflict can stop you from getting you to where you need to be. But sometimes these things stop us from ultimately what our overall mission or call, the thing that we ultimately want to do.
So, of course, still looking into and reading the book about 50 percent of the way through. But I have to go back and read it again. It's just a phenomenal read just because I always talk a lot around the jungle gym and understanding that While you're on the jungle gym, you might want to go to the next row, but what got you to that row won't get you to the next row.
And understanding the limitations of that, understanding that we have limitations from a human standpoint helps us to, to look at things in a different way. So, and, and getting this rest and understanding that we're 22 at. 100 episodes deep. We've been in a completely different way where we repurpose episodes that I've been on from other podcasts.
We've had refresh or re posting episodes from, years ago and even having guests back on the show, it's operating in a different way. So I'm super excited about some of the, I think, unique ways that we're going to, to try to do episodes in the future. Even thinking of, some ways that we could have people that may not necessarily be able to make the time zone to be able to be on the show and a unique way.
So I'm super excited about some of the different ways that we do how we're going to continue to be on that jungle gym, continue to on those runs, but understand that we're not going to be able to do it potentially in the way that we did before. And that's probably okay. And that's probably even going to be better and more impactful.
So, by the end of the day. One of the big missions actually that came about, from the book is that I've always felt like entrepreneurship people. So, and when you start to really tap into that, you realize that there's different ways to operate to make that happen. And I'm excited about some of the things that we're doing, maybe some.
Opportunities around franchising and things that can come up for me but also for the business and everything that we're doing even through 16. So it's really like in this kind of reinvention standpoint, which I was in about a year ago when we were repurposing episodes. But again, I think we're in now too and understanding that we're, we're not, we are, taking steps.
Forward, but you really want to make a more of a transformational change. And if you want another read, that's really awesome. 10 X is easier than two X. Basically, the idea is that in order for you to have two X grow you have to make incremental changes. But in order to have 10 X growth, you have to reinvent yourself.
You have to operate from a completely different level. So the thing about two X is that. It's challenging and you can strive to get 2x more sales or 2x, more revenue or whatever that might be and however you define that success. But in order to get 10x growth and to do it in a shorter period of time, it's, you can't.
Do the thing in the way that you did it before and it requires you to transform yourself It requires you to look at things in a different way and that's really what I think the combination of these two books and this time is Helped us to look at is that whatever we were doing to get to where we are We probably have to look at in a completely different way, and that's that could be messy, and that could be painful because you're used to doing things here within your comfort zone.
You're using your winning strategy because this is what we've done to get to where we are to have the success that we had. But that's not going to get us to that next level. So super exciting time. I just wanted to take some time as I travel. To be able to share a little bit more for this special episode, but If there's anything that we could do, of course, please reach out to us of course check out our netflix for business as well to where we Share lots of those nuggets around eight business pillars to help you level up so all that information is going to be in the show notes and that should be it We'll have a great rest of the day and hopefully we'll talk with you soon Lemme let us know if we can do anything else.
