Kapri Robinson is DC's 2017 Cocktail Queen and has been a part of the beverage community in DC for almost a decade now. While spending her time being a bartender at Reliable Tavern she founded Chocolate City's Best, a platform to connect people of color to opportunities in the hospitality industry for their own career growth. Kapri has gone on to win cocktail competitions and has been acknowledged on multiple platforms. Kapri has been welcomed onto Good Morning Washington as well as featured in a two-page article in the Washington Post Express. Kelly Bryant is a Yoga Alliance Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT-200) and Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT), Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT), and a realist. She is committed to helping birthing people understand their bodies — specifically their core and pelvic health — and adopt a mindset around movement that addresses physical and psychological components. She is passionate about empowering people through all stages of life from prenatal to postmenopausal take care of themselves so that they can show up and do their work in the world. Prior to quitting her job to travel in 2016, she worked at health & fitness startup, Noom, where she led content and community marketing efforts and soaked up everything she could learn about psychology and behavior change.
Kyle is fairly new to the marketing focus, with no formal marketing education and only 2 years of experience in the profession. Despite this, he's been able to find a great deal of success by leveraging his past experience in multimedia production, and the skills from his previous role as a communications specialist. Originally filling both a marketing and sales role in his company, Kyle has been recently appointed as the head marketing coordinator at Tradogram, an online software-as-a-service startup seeking to provide a streamlined purchasing and procurement management tool for businesses of all sizes.
Kendra Y. Hill is a native San Antonian who has lived all over the world, from Washington DC to Cali to Mexico and Toronto. Her professional background includes the U.S. House of Representatives, UNCF, Google and the San Antonio Spurs. An entrepreneur for over a decade, Kendra has a unique approach that can help any business large or small. Her specialties include organizational leadership, digital media, brand development, HR and talent acquisition, system automation, team-building, strategic management diversity, equity and inclusion, and faith-based entrepreneurship.
Kyara M. Lombre is a Washington native and earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies at Bowie State University, before moving on to Florida State University, where she pursued her master’s degree in Television and Film. When she returned home, she worked for Maryland Public Television (MPT), where she produced and directed documentaries like “Voices of Baltimore” which chronicled the 2015 Baltimore riots for Freddie Gray. She quickly realized that her talents and dreams were often being boxed away inside a cubicle, she quit her job with MPT as an Associate Producer and started her media company, Lab House Studios, which specializes in outdoor and indoor portrait photography. With over ten years of unique experience behind the lens and behind the scenes, she has continued to define and refine her craft as contemporary/modern, simplistic, and clean- lending itself to dynamic, engaging, and beautiful images. Ultimately, her mission is to create memories that will last a lifetime.
