Sylvia Scott is the founder and CEO of the Girls' C.E.O. Connection which she launched in 2009. Her passion is to help high school girls build bright and fulfilling self-sufficient futures. She want to see independent thinking cultivated within a global community of young female entrepreneurs. Her goal for the Girls' C.E.O. Connection is to equip and motivate the girls with skills and traits of accomplished women entrepreneurs. Sylvia's personal commitment is to expand opportunities for them within entrepreneurship. Sylvia is an Ambassador for WED/Women's® Entrepreneurship Day. From 2016 to 2020 she was an e-mentor for Afghan women entrepreneurs enrolled in the Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women's Peace Through Business® Program. She is also a business counselor with the Coachella Valley Women's Business Center.
After a long career as a software contractor -- it seemed long anyway -- Steve Silberberg decided to toss aside nice things and financial security to start Fitpacking. Fitpacking takes people on backpacking adventure vacations to get fit and lose fat. He says, "Taking people backpacking is no way to get rich, but I do live an incredible quality of life."
Stephen Deason is Founder and CEO of The OPARasa Group, a Social Enterprise building worth in Recovery. Mr. Deason was previously CEO of GRYYT, a Socially Conscious MarTech firm, and has held C-level positions in three other technology companies. Stephen is an active volunteer who serves as a director on three nonprofit boards and on the advisory boards of two startup technology firms. Mr. Deason holds both an MBA and an MSc. in Accounting from Emory University, a BSc. in Mathematics from UAB, and is ABD-PhD in Business, also from Emory University’s Laney Graduate School.
Sam Adams serves as co-founder and chief executive of dot.LA. A former financial journalist for Bloomberg and Reuters, Adams moved to the business side of media as a strategy consultant at Activate, helping legacy companies develop new digital strategies. Adams holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College and an MBA from the University of Southern California.

Through her own soul searching, Samantha has redefined physical therapy as a whole body experience, one that inextricably connects the head with the heart for optimal outcomes.

Sue Reninger, Managing Partner and Client Brand Strategist at RMD Advertising, founded RMD Advertising in 1992. Since that time, Sue has been responsible for the strategy and direction of RMD’s clients.
