Matt Bacon is a consultant, A&R man, and journalist specializing in the world of heavy metal. Having worked with everyone from glam rock icon Phil Collen of Def Leppard to black metal titans Enslaved by way of legendary thrashers Exhorder as well as labels including Prophecy Productions and Ripple Music he has dedicated his life to helping young bands develop. Having started his own blog at the age of 14 he views his career in artist development as 'a hobby that got out of hand'. In 2015 he formed Dropout Media in order to better support the artists he loves. We sit here now, years later with countless tours booked, records released and deals signed, and loving every minute of it.
Marion Zola has always been a writer and animal lover. Her first writing was poetry, until she began writing screenplays and sitcoms. Along the way she began producing with a vampire movie and, for the last few years, a show on shelter dogs entitled “Shelter Me. Michael Wang is Founder & CEO of Inspiren, an award winning healthcare technology company. He is a registered nurse and nurse practitioner with vast clinical experience in cardiothoracic surgery and direct patient care. In addition, he holds numerous patents on innovate technologies in both the healthcare and hospitality industry and has founded two successful companies prior to Inspiren. He received a bachelors degree from Emory University, majoring in Biology and Sociology. He attended graduate school at Columbia University, studying both business and nursing.
After going to school to become a computer engineer, Matt decided to follow his passion and start a food blog and youtube channel with his wife 6 years ago. Their content focuses on living a healthy lifestyle through a low carb diet. They grew their website to more than 1 million monthly pageviews in less than 1 year and currently have close to 1 million youtube subscribers. They are now working on acquiring, building and operating a portfolio of content websites.
I grew up in a small village outside the capital of India, where we had no running water, or electricity and didn't even have toilets - that's a story for another day but this was the beginning of my life. I moved to the US at age 12 and after college, I took up a job in the sciences that would make my parents happy. After some years of collecting courage, I quit my corporate job to pursue my passion - of which I had no idea! So I went out to find it and through many jobs and businesses I did.
