Intro 00:01

Are you ready to hear business stories and learn effective ways to build relationships, generate sales, and level up your business from awesome CEOs, entrepreneurs, and founders without listening to a long, long, long interview?

If so, you've come to the right place. Gresh values your time and is ready to share with you the valuable info you're in search of. This is the I AM CEO Podcast.

Gresham Harkless 00:28

Hello, hello, hello. This is Gresh from the I AM CEO Podcast. It is episode number 2336, the I AM CEO Podcast.

I just want to wish you a happy new year. This is an exciting time. I think every year, new year has such an excitement that we always need to kind of harness and carry on.

I think I'm a very much so not a New Year's resolution person. So I always believe that it could feel like another day, but honestly I think that there's a certain energy around New Year's.

I think every time there's something new, the page turns. It's just excitement that we want to try to tap into.

So as you have heard before, I've been working on the 12-week year, so I'm excited to focus on my 12-week year goals, and also super excited about the podcast and seeing what transition evolution it will take from that standpoint.

So you're gonna hear a lot more solo episodes and I think a lot of what I really hope to do is to riff off of different topics and things that have come up in previous episodes or things that might just be coming up overall.

So definitely look at hearing from the 8 pillars in business, the different things that can come up.

And really, we've started to develop these pillars so that we can start to organize the content according to that.

[restrict paid=”true”]

Then when I think we have those pillars combined with the hacks, the CEO hacks, those 2 things are going to not only give you the knowledge and information.

But also hopefully be able to give you the tactical thing that you can maybe do to kind of implement so that you can solve the ultimate problem that you have.

So I'm excited about delving into that and seeing exactly like where that will take these podcast interviews.

Of course, I'm excited to continue to have like awesome guests on the show. I think that there's gonna be less interviews.

I do feel like there is going to be more experimentation. So there will be different ways that I come about and do these interviews.

But we want to stay true to those 6 set questions that we usually have on the show. So one of those questions will be definitely touched on each and every episode.

And I think that's one of the exciting things around any type of new year, as you start to realize that, hey, I can evaluate or approach things in a completely different and unique way.

This time last year, I was bringing back out the podcast because I had to take some time away from the podcast.

I did a year, I thought about doing 2 years but I really wanted to work out the podcast because honestly I missed it so much.

And I think that having that space is huge but I feel like I probably should have extended that space a little bit longer.

But I was kind of in this in this mindset that I felt as if if I did kind of stop the podcast for 2 years, I may not bring the podcast back out.

And I didn't really necessarily want to do that. I think understanding that we're talking about 2 years and maybe not doing episodes.

But I think that now probably what I should have did was rather than try to ramp up the podcast as I was, I probably should have experimented.

So that's ultimately what I'm going to do now. Life is not always linear. I always say, like, is that plain as spaghetti?

And knowing that I want to have this year be fully like an experimental year. So you might hear repurpose episodes, you might hear solo episodes.

You might hear riffs off of things that were mentioned in previous episodes, or you might just hear interviews with phenomenally great entrepreneurs, CEOs, and business owners.

But you're going to get a meld of all of that during this year. So I'd love to hear your feedback, of course, like what you think about this idea and what, and what and how you hold that space.

But it's been 7 years since I've done this podcast, which is absolutely insane to kind of think about.

2336 is the number of this episode, when in and of itself is crazy to kind of think about. But as you go through any journey, I mentioned previous episode talking a lot around the journey of entrepreneurship, but making sure that you're solving problems is going to be such a huge thing.

And that's one of the things that I really want to make sure that I'm hammering home and that I'm doing with every single episode.

So as you start to go through transitions, we have a new baby that is on the way that was supposed to come this year in 2025, but actually came last year.

So just going through that journey and transition even with him and seeing how he's going to grow up is going to be super awesome.

But with that being said, again, I just want to wish you a happy new year. I think it's such an exciting time.

There's so many great opportunities that are out there. So look forward to more experimental podcasts and interviews and things that we're doing and content.

But at the end of the day, we really hope to hopefully give you some insight into some hacks, some nuggets, resources, things that can help you to level up.

And remember, more than anything else, what we're trying to stay true to is this idea and the equation that we have that's the underbelly of everything that we're doing, where we say visibility plus resources, times connections equals success.

Every piece of content should hit one of those 3 pillars if not all of those so you're either gonna hear a really great story.

You're gonna learn about resources these are the hacks and nuggets things that can help you to kind of level up.

We're gonna get the opportunity to kind of connect with people and that might happen through the journey in the story of people or it might happen where you get connected to certain CEO hacks or things that can help you to level up, whatever that might be.

The whole goal is to lead to your success. So I'm excited around this year, excited about where it's going to take me and what it's going to look like.

And, it's just, it's an exciting time. And, yeah, I'm super excited about what the opportunities are.

I'm excited about just experimenting, trying things out, throwing the spaghetti against the wall and see what sticks and what doesn't stick.

And just the evolution that I have personally, but also I think for this podcast, hopefully you as well too.

So if there's anything I can do to help, please, of course, reach out. This is Gresh signing out.

Hope you have a phenomenal rest of the day and of course a phenomenal, phenomenal start to the year and of course year all the way beyond.
